Long before the inception of The Good Works Kitchen, CEO Jill Scheidel has been a strong advocate for the UNSHELTERED and those facing homelessness. With her ongoing support through teams of individuals and other nonprofit organizations, resiliency of the community has been the heart of her passion. Using her community spirit and thousands of social media followers, Jill’s outreach had no limits to bring comfort and care to many humans who just want to be Loved, Known, and Not Alone. Working with her close friend, Jack, Jill has helped to distribute food, clothing and many other much needed provisions such as sleeping bags, tents, underwear & socks. The unsheltered are those from all walks of life, age and gender, with their own individual stories. Although often times heartbreaking, deaths on the streets from exposure and illness keeps the unsheltered population in rotation. The Good Works Kitchen supports without judgement or discrimination and simple leading with love.
